I was born in the time of radio and books, not ebook, but paper and print books. My Google was the Public Library, National Geographic, News Papers, Magazines, and when I was 10 years old my parents bought us a used encyclopedia. We had typewriter but the children were not allowed to use it. So if you had a thought you got a #2 pencil and a piece of paper.
There wasn't a good way for the average person to share their thoughts except with individual letters to their closest family and friends or you where very lucky you might meet someone to share ideas with at school, work or a party.
|Frogbird Says: You are as young as our thoughts.|
Much of what I have found in this virtual new world has been instructional and educational. Many of the people I have meet have been intelligent, witty and charming. I find, in this virtual, shall we say "Party", I can "mingle" to find people with whom I have a common interest, and meet new people that broaden my horizons.
With this in mind I am going to make an effort to re-join the "Party". We learned from Frogbird to make the most of what we have around, so with that in mind I will make an effort to use the virtual world and be more prolific. I am trying a new App called "Posts" on my iPad and using dictation on both my Mac and iPad. I learned to touch type years ago in high school but find dictation to be much more fun.
